At the recent international wine challenge AWC Vienna, Pulec wines have won numerous prices. In a fierce competition, among 12,525 wines, presented by 1.641 wine producers from 40 countries from all over the world, seven of our wines have won a silver medal and two a seal of approval:
The Pulec estate is located in the village of Plešivo, right on the border with Italy, where the sunny hills of the Goriška brda sweep gently down to the Friuli plains. Our family vineyards are spread in various best locations of Goriška brda: in Plešivo, where the fluvial deposition in the soil is optimal and enables the production of rich wines, especially Jakot (Tokaj) and Ribolla; and in the heart of Goriška brda, in Vedrijan, where marl soil in combination with the right altitude guarantees the best acidity in wines.
These are ideal conditions for winegrowing and our family has been involved in producing high quality wines for several generations. The wine farm is run by Radko, an expert winegrower and winemaker, who shares his knowledge and many years of experience with his younger son Mitja.
In an idyllic location on our estate in Plešivo we offer the possibility of wine tastings for individuals and small groups. In a pleasant ambience, you can get to know the entire selection of our wines and have a chat about their production. We will also be happy to help you in your purchase choices.
Upon request, we can also organize a refreshment, lunch or dinner in collaboration with the adjacent Belvin pub and pizzeria.
Prior reservation is required. Please contact us by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or via the contact form.
